Get Involved

If you’re interested in taking part in one of our research projects, please do get in touch.  Our current recruitment goals are listed below, but if in doubt just email or ring Sue (see details on the right hand side of the page) and she can help.

Whenever anyone gets in touch about any of our projects, they will always be given more information, and have the opportunity to ask questions, before they decide whether they want to take part.

  • Recruitment for the Infant Lab is now open.  We are looking for babies aged 6-12 months to come in for a single appointment in our Lab in Moray House, just off the Royal Mile.
  • Recruitment for the TUKS project is now open. We are looking for families with a child with autism (including Asperger Syndrome) and a non-autistic brother or sister aged 9-17 years old. The study involves no face-to-face meetings and is conducted entirely by phone and questionnaires sent in the post.
  • Recruitment for the CLICK-EAST research study is now closed.  We have recruited 61 families, of which 54 have been enrolled into the trial. We’ll be posting more information about this stage on the blog in due course.
  • If you would like to register your interest in future projects by myself and my colleagues, please do get in touch, and we can keep you informed as new projects and opportunities come up. We’re always interested in hearing from anyone connected to the autism community, and from families with young children.
